The College offers exciting palettes with which to colour CC-ers’ university life and support whole-person development. Chung Chi College encourages students to participate in different activities and take lead in organizing meaningful and creative activities of their own. By taking part in the activities, students can meet CC-ers with different backgrounds and enrich their college life.
Arts, lifestyle and sports activities keep both your body and mind fit; social service programmes foster your commitment to the community and enhance personal growth; inter-cultural activities provide opportunities for local and international students to mingle together; the “Lakeside Walks” programme helps you relax from busy school life and hectic pace; career development programmes equip yourself to face challenges in future studies and work; language and visiting scholar programmes provide you with opportunities to broaden horizon and improve language skills.
CC-ers always take the initiative to organize student activities of their own. Students can foster their leadership, time management and communication skills, as well as empathy to others, through cooperating with one and others. The Quality Activities Award Scheme provides financial support for events and activities organized by student bodies.
Signature annual activities organized by student bodies include: Student Orientation Camp, Founders’ Day Student Festival, Inter-hostel Singing Competition, Fu Cup (inter-hostel sports competition), etc. These activities have become valuable and memorable experiences in many CC-ers’ university life.
Besides, there are various Interest Groups formed by students which provide platforms for CC-ers to exchange interests and show their talents. Examples include: Orchestra, Photography Society, Drama Club, Debating Team, Air Cadet Corps, Astronomy Club, Band Society, Christian Students Fellowship, various College sports teams, and etc..
