Language & Culture

CC-ers can improve their language skills by participating in various overseas Programmes in U.S.A., Canada, Germany, France and Mainland China. Not only attending in language lessons, students can also engage in different cultural activities, city tours and visits. The Programme also pairs up participants with the locals by home-stay and buddy schemes. Through spending time and having dialogue with the locals, CC-ers can have a better understanding on the culture of a place.

To encourage CC-ers to broaden horizon and enrich knowledge through participating in overseas activities, EYE Award was established to provide subsidies to participants of the below programmes.

Study Trips: Exploration of German / French / Japanese Society

Dialogue and spending time with locals are the most effective way to explore the society and cultural of a place. The three Study Trips respectively visit Germany, France and Japan during the summer. The three-week study trips include an elementary (or intermediate) language course, cultural activities, city tour and visiting places of historical interest. Chung Chi College arranges home-stay for participants of the Germany and France trips; and the buddy scheme for the Japan scheme – each participant will be paired with a student from the visiting university.
