Chung Chi Spring Homecoming Carnival x 《Concert by the Lake Ad Excellentiam》 (Guest: Serrini)
Spring is in the air! It’s time to return to Chung Chi to share a wonderful afternoon with your family members and friends on the beautiful campus again!
On March 1 (Saturday), the College will be organizing the Chung Chi Spring Homecoming Carnival with a variety of activities, including a bouncy castle party, a pop-up market with handmade crafts, games and snack stalls. What’s more, our College alumna Leung Ka Yan (Serrini) will join the bouncy castle party with children and host a reading sharing session, where she will share the joy and beauty of reading!
On the same evening, Serrini will hold a mini concert titled《Concert by the Lake Ad Excellentiam》at the College Chapel. Join us for an exclusive experience as you enjoy Serrini's healing voice and immerse yourself in the positive energy of her songs!
These events will raise funds for the College's latest campus development plan Project E. We are delighted to announce that Serrini will donate “The Tree Baby Light” to raise funds for Project E, facilitating the campus development of the College. Seize the golden opportunity and join in charity with Serrini!

Profile of Serrini

Serrini graduated from Chung Chi College, CUHK in 2013, major in English. She established “Serrini Scholarship” in CUHK after graduating. She is an independent singer songwriter based in Hong Kong, deputed in 2012. Started humbly writing music in her Chung Chi College hostel room, she is now one of the most famous female voices in the contemporary Hong Kong pop music scene and has received the Female Singer Award at the 2024 Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation. Serrini's pop style varies depending on her mood, encompassing genres like pop ballads, electronic dance music, and upbeat love songs. With a PhD in Cultural Studies, Serrini utilizes her academic literary skills to write diverse pieces, and in her spare time, she also writes for other artists, crafting lyrics and melodies. |

Storytelling by Serrini @ Chung Chi Spring Homecoming Carnival l Children aged 12 or under will be given priority. Parents or adults are also welcome to sign up and accompany. l Those who register through the link and donate to Project E with a minimum of HK$100 can sign up for a maximum of 4 participants. l Priority registration is limited to 100 participants. l Participants who successfully register will receive an email confirmation and donation details within 5 working days. |

The mini concert at the College Chapel will be divided into Area A and Area B (Seating chart): l Area A provides 600 seats l Area B provides 200 seats
l A donation of HK$365 or above to Project E shall earn you a voucher for Area A of the mini concert. l A donation of HK$200 or above shall earn you a voucher for Area B of the mini concert. l Seating for Area A will be allocated based on the order of donation registration, starting from the lower level of the Chapel. Area B will not have assigned seating - it will be first-come, first-served on the day of the concert. Details can be found on the seating chart. l Please note that each donor will be limited to a maximum of 2 mini concert vouchers. l Seating is limited, and vouchers will be distributed in the order of donation registration on a first-come, first-served basis. To support the mini concert, Chung Chi College Alumni Association (CCCAA) is introducing a special donation scheme: l From today onwards, for just HK$665#, you can become a CCCAA member (permanent membership fee of HK$500), and earn a voucher for Area A of the mini concert. l CCCAA will reserve 100 Area A vouchers. Each new member is limited to receiving 1 voucher. #CCCAA will donate HK$365 to Project E, additional donation is also welcomed. |
