Since the epidemic has eased and society has returned to normal, Chung Chi’s overseas learning programmes have returned with overwhelming responses. Last summer in 2023, over 170 Chung Chi students participated in various exchange activities sponsored by the College’s “EYE Award” and “FLY Award” and gained a wonderful and fruitful learning experience.
“EYE Award”: Canada Language Study Abroad Programme
During July and August this year, 34 students participated in the Language Study Abroad Programmes organised by the College, travelling to the University of Waterloo and the University of Victoria in Canada for a few weeks of English courses. This journey not only enabled students to experience the local culture but also enhanced their language skills and global perspective.

Chung Chi’s “EYE Award” (Excel Yourself through Exploration) was established to encourage students to explore the world by subsidising them to join the overseas programmes organised by the College. “FLY Award” (Find a Learning opportunity Yourself) aims to enrich Chung Chi students’ international exposure and motivate students to explore their potential through participating in overseas activities they are interested in and organised by recognised institutes or organisations.
