Chung Chi College organized the “Ancient Recipes Fundraising Banquet” at the College Staff Club Clubhouse on 14 November, where over 130 College trustees, teachers, staff, and friends joined together to raise funds for Project E and support the development of the College.
The banquet menu was inspired by Ancient Recipes, written by alumna Dr. Ng Sui Hing Sonia. Under the leadership of Professor Kwan Mei Po, Head of Chung Chi College, the Staff Club culinary team reimagined traditional dishes, providing guests with an authentic taste of Chinese culinary heritage. Dr. Ng shared her research insights on historical culinary traditions, adding a rich cultural dimension to the occasion.
A highlight of the evening was the fund-raising session, hosted by Dr. Norman Chan, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees. A total of HK$1 million was raised, with all proceeds dedicated to Project E for the College’s future development.
